There’s a tremendous rushing, rushing, rushing that fills the air now. Morning to night, the sound never stops. Sort of like living by an ocean, I imagine.
At night, with the window open (<–! I know!) it’s an electrifying energy that is in its own way, calming.
Rivers and streams appear everywhere I turn; splits in the field and in the road have currents cutting through where they don’t belong. Full and coursing wildly, they are unceasing in their rush to get where they’re going. Even the smallest rivulets winding over moss and rocks seem to have attitude.
Yippee-KI-yay! All of this water = bye bye snow.
Of course, some of us are not so happy to see the end of their beloved playmate.
To them I say: suck it, Daisy.
At the pond, the kids found cranberries and a salamander.
And me? What did I find?
Shapes. Shadows. Buds on the trees.
Bisous, E
so love seeing the world through your beautiful eyes!

Thank you for that dose of pure JOY. Franklin is also very sad that the snow is gone. He waded into the dirty slush until it was completely gone. Now? MUD. You know he is white, right?
oh, Love, Love, LOVE, L.O.V.E. that you are finally meeting Spring. The photos are beautiful!

You live in Narnia. Aslan is on the move – oh, that's Daisy…xxx

Green!
Thank you for your post today. I needed it more than I realized.
Your photos are beautiful and they make me yearn for living in New England again! Your young friends remind me of a wonderful time in my life when I would spend hours exploring the woodlands around my childhood home in Marshfield (Mass) looking for salamanders too. I miss living in the country and would trade places with you in a heartbeat.
So happy for you that Spring has finally come to your door step.
Bridgemor
thanks everyone for stopping by!
and Bridgemor, I am so glad the images feed you– and yes!! playing with the kids– just in the dirt, water– it goes on for hours and it's basically just exploring and mucking about and it's so damn fun– I am gonna miss many things about living on this farm, for sure– so I am trying to focus on those aspects now– but where ever we are there is beauty to be found, for sure.
sending you all BIG love!!!! xo, E
You get the best comments. I can just see Franklin covered in mud, and the look on Megsie's face when she sees him. And ASLAN. Definitely on the move. You don't just see shadows and shapes, you see BEAUTY. Everywhere you go.
These are such beautiful and fun images … you live in a lovely place, I know how happy you are that winter has come to a close!
