At night, with the window open (<–! I know!) it’s an electrifying energy that is in its own way, calming.
Rivers and streams appear everywhere I turn; splits in the field and in the road have currents cutting through where they don’t belong. Full and coursing wildly, they are unceasing in their rush to get where they’re going. Even the smallest rivulets winding over moss and rocks seem to have attitude.
Yippee-KI-yay! All of this water = bye bye snow.
Of course, some of us are not so happy to see the end of their beloved playmate.
And me? What did I find?
Shapes. Shadows. Buds on the trees.
