Oh kids. It’s Sunday and I am at the office.
What is wrong with this picture?
Actually, aside from some plain old tiredness– everything is beyond awesome. And, as much I as am ready to slide into the other side of this big work crunch and be lolling in the fields in the sunshine — I am honestly grateful for all that is in my life.
Most especially this Wyclef Jean album that is playing on repeat while the sweet summer breezes blow in through the windows. This song in particular that he does with Patti Labelle is rocking me:

Am celebrating so big time.
It took me five years to get here: June Squam was pure joy for me.
A lotta of work to be sure, but damn, did I have FUN and feel the love. so. much. love.
And so, today– as I blast through what must be done, I can rock out with Ms. Patti Labelle and CELEBRATE.
As always, I’m just trying to find balance in this work scene so it doesn’t cannibalize my life.
Does it feel like I have been saying that for a while now? Hmmm, sorry about that.
Am I delusional that I believe it really IS just around the corner or am I still suffering from ‘mirage syndrome’?
Next weekend– I swear– next weekend– three days of NO work.
And you’re gonna hold me to that, yes?
Sending big love–
bisous, e
What a beautiful office space and place to work. Sending you so much love as you soak into this life that you created for yourself….yes YOU created it. And that love you felt at June squam, that love is the love you give to this world coming back to you.
xoxo

You're so blessed and just think, it's all due to your own hard work and wonderfulness! Double score!
I am so glad you are celebrating. You have so much to celebrate! Especially the part when you made the decision to live the life that you were born to live. That takes such courage, to embrace yourself and let other people's expectations and convictions go. I strive to be YOU. So I am celebrating right along side of you. xoxoxo
oh Megsie!!! you crazy girl– I love that you love me SOoooo much. Do you think we get to meet in person before with are 85? xoxoox

hi Bunny!!! I never answered your darlingest facebook message– eep I am so sorry– it has been full out and I suck. but YOU. lovely lovely you– thank you so much for all the caring loving energy you send my way– it means the world to me. xoox, e
Even though it is an office and you are working on a Sunday, (yuck), it looks like a beautiful space. And, you've got my favorite friends lolling about with you making it look easy or at least that it inspires sleep. My dog could not handle my niece and nephew visiting this weekend- like, lost it- too much energy for her. 🙂 Cracked me up. Love the celebrating you are doing!! xoxo
so happy to hear you had FUN at squam, and felt all the love you send out reflected back to you.
if you're feeling something right around the corner, it is likely there.
i feel it for you…it's there.
and, on that note, i'm going to hold you to those three days next weekend…
xo
oh I HEAR you on the dogs getting flipped out by new people/kids in their space– mine are old and used to their routines so they look very put out when I mix things up on them. THANK you for celebrating with me !!!! oxox,e
yes! I will report in to you directly on how I do. . . oxoxoxo,e
I love this and noticed the large photograph on your wall. I know it was the cover of a Squam journal (?) a few years ago and I loved it when I saw it on a blog, but the journal was sold out. Who is the photographer and is it possible to get a small print. I found it so inspiring at the time. It captures something of what I think I have inside.
oh Laura! that is so sweet— email me and we can figure something out– elizabeth@squamartworkshops.com . . xoxo, e
