In this moment, it is just after 2pm and I must head to the river for one last long, leisurely drift. This morning, we all gathered up — the full group — and went around the circle sharing what we had made this week. SUCH gorgeous work. And, of course– all in process. All is just beginning.
My offering this week — as I think you know– was all about seeing how our life, HOW we live our life, is the greatest artwork there is. We are the artists of our life and no matter how beautiful the music, the painting, the poetry or the pottery we might create– nothing can touch the masterpiece we can create in our lives when we are living consciously.
Since you are digging on the soundtrack of my current life, here are two of the songs that were part of the movement and dance we did earlier in the week.

*This month — 30 days — I am writing a letter to my dear friend Mindy because I happened on Mindy’s post where she honored me to my core — sharing that she reads my blog (my long, long neglected blog) and it inspired me to promise that for one full month — 30 days of September– I would write her a letter each, and every day. Let’s see how I do . . . 🙂
This is the line:

This is it! I am team teaching a course this semester and we begin each class with something thought-provoking, or inspirational, or controversial…you know. Things to get the brain all warmed up, things to help us consider other perspectives, or consider how we can choose to live our lives. This quote, this will be one of those…if you don't mind.
My soul rejoices.

OMG! I need to totally shake it all loose!!! I had a feeling this week would open up to you like the the most succulent and unexpected late August bloom…. and how sweet it all seems to be! I must know about this place(!), as I'm thinking deeply these days about our places of belonging. sometimes they find us. sometime we did over they already exist within. your words stir up all of that wonder for thought! AND gorgeous photo!!!!! like, whoa! xoxoxoxo!
“did over” should = discover! autocorrect.
