Mystic Vixen

oh, beauty beauty

November 5, 2011 5 Comments

So, I am all over the map here– nothing new with that, but there it is.

Never got to the DMV cause my title has gone missing (READ: how to win prizes for suckiest at filing)– trying to plow through all this paperwork on every front and am losing EPICALLY— think Napoleon. Waterloo. Like that.

I love being an adult in many ways but damn, the paperwork near about kills me. Got to find a way to not hate it so much. The hating gets in the way of the doing, you know?

About to head down to Brown with Christine for some kind of vintage fair– not sure what it’s about but bringing my camera so if there’s anything to share, I will carry it back to you.

Meantime, I just saw this video chez Asya and oh my dear lord– it may be one of the all time most beautiful videos I have ever seen.

Honestly.

Holy, holy, holy…that video is amazing. I had to pick up my jaw from the floor after that. Can you imagine being there in that canoe? How awesome would that be?! Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi Elizabeth, former BP reader here. I was so happy to discover your blogging voice again here on this new (to me) site. Glad to see you have found yourself a new home, in every sense.

I was in awe when I saw it — I showed my 15-year-old son and he also loved it. Nothing can beat the beauty of nature. The simple pleasure of being in the moment. Wow.
