Yesterday the snow arrived like Superman striving to stop a speeding train which is to say arms stretched out, full horizontal.  There was no taking a walk in the early hours (and just forget about getting in a car) unless you enjoy bits of ice being driven directly into your eyeballs, but we did get out later in the day once it shifted into a more civilized head shower.

I knew it would be a thick dump and worth getting up early this morning.

Well, also because I knew that lying in bed while all this was going on outside might cause my license to live in beauty to be revoked.

I mean seriously, these are only about five minutes of shots– if you were the sheriff of beauty licenses, wouldn’t you totally suspend me if I did not pull on boots, hat, and whatnot and hoof it out into the soft, downy expanse?

Daisy:  Hmm, I would make an effort to be impartial, but yes, I would totally bust your ass.

Of course she would.

Bisous, E

Oh sweet lord. *swoons* Those shots with the pink clouds. In fact, I can't believe I stopped gazing at them long enough to comment. You truly have a talent for capturing beauty. Killing this Southern girl!

    Beauty, beauty, beauty.
Let us not overlook the fact that it takes one to capture one.

mmmmm…..these are gorgeous, E. The pink clouds just made my girl announce she wants to go “there, where the clouds are pink'. I'm with her.
