They sell cameras in New York City.

I know, right?

Yesterday was my birthday and man, some fun was had.
As you can tell– I can’t really write.
I am typing to you from the red leather sofa apartment we have rented in LES.
The location is amazing– and right now, as I sit at the table talk and laughter is swirling around me. We have no clear plans about the day ahead except that we head toward Chelsea and check out the highline.

For you– a few shots here from around town.

More stories, thoughts, things that would require a second cup of coffee– to come.

It is so weird for me to be messing about with a new camera and in the city which is a completely different subject matter– so it will be funny for me to come back to these later– but this is where I am at for the moment.

I have been wondering how your dad is doing and how your home-hunting was going so I am looking forward to more, but I am happy that it all seems to be going g-r-e-a-t! Have a blast in NYC. It has been too long since I have roamed those streets!

Oh! A very belated, but very heartfelt and mighty birthday wish to you, Elizabeth! May this year have magic, and wonder, and peace and love…and LOTS of adventure. (The NYC photos are so inspiring…you make this country girl wanna roam in the city for a while…)
