She had a lively, playful disposition
that delighted in anything ridiculous.
– Pride & Predjudice

She is also quite partial to the blue/orange combo . . . as you well know.

So, as some of you have recently discovered, I have gone a bit polygamous in the blog realm.

Yes, I have a new love.  And yes, chances are there will be some crisscross of photos as my world is anything but compartmentalized.  I am guessing that most people will only visit me in one place or the other and anyone who is a glutton for my particular spin on daily life and does in fact travel between the two will be positively delighted by photographic repeats.

Of course, who knows— mystic vixen may be the first place I share some shots that then get repeated over at the new digs . . . my muse, she is mercurial, as you know.

I decided to share the two photos above of that kooky copper bit in celebration of how CUCKOO for coconuts things are feeling this weekend into today.  Is it just me or have the energies gone spinning widdershins and everything is getting all twisted and cockeyed?

Seriously.  Somedays are best spent under the covers until the world has righted itself.

Maybe this is just me?  Maybe the planets aren’t crashing about and you are off eating sponge cake with raspberries and fresh whipped cream by a warm fireplace while Ryan Gosling rubs your feet.  (you ARE, aren’t you?!)

Somedays I take comfort that even an old headcase like Kafka understands what I’m talking about.

I’m tired, can’t think of anything and want only
to lay my face in your lap, feel your hand on my head
and remain like that through all eternity. — Franz Kafka

Wait!  How on EARTH do I begin with Jane Austen on the brain and end with Kafka . .?

Is it February yet?

bisous, e

My goodness, would never have thought myself as being understood by Jane Austen & Franz Kafka, but wow, those two quotes: spot on! 🙂

I think it is the POLAR VORTEX (echo, echo, echo). I am home today because they even closed down the colleges. It is damn COLD out there, and I am still in bed. Yes, it is almost 11:00. So what! THAT is why those quotes are perfect. And I visited your new muse. So. Beautiful. xoxoox

I think the quotes are actually pretty spot on in a yin/ yang kind of way. While at it, by the end of January, especially this one, everything makes sense…it is just to cold and dreary to think otherwise. Great photos!

Loved your last post (and this one, too), Elizabeth. Inspiring in many ways. I just visited the ProvyLove and am tempted to move to Providence myself from So Cal ! Ha. Don't know how my hubby would feel about it, though. It just sounds and looks like an awesome place to be. I dig the interviews, too. Great idea. “If you build it, they will come”…that's how I feel about all your ventures!!! kd
