Am home. Beautiful sweet home. Two very happy dogs.
Between us, Michelle and I have over 2,000 photos of our week in Abruzzo.
All I can tell you in this moment is that the saying goes that people in Abruzzo are forte e gentile* and they are all that and so much more: generous, thoughtful, delightful and just all-around amazing.
The shot above was taken midday of a most extraordinary excursion to Campo Imperatore and Rocca Calascio which if you have ever seen the movie Ladyhawke (a personal favorite of mine)– is where the monk scene was filmed.
So many stories to share– I don’t know where to begin and my head feels like it is filled with dry ice– so they will come, but just not in this moment. As soon as I can– I will share everything about this most amazing experience of a lifetime.
bisous, e
*forte e gentile = strong & kind
